Introducing The 2007 Starettes

      Regan Saunders-Iblings currently serves as Assistant
Director and Dance Captain with the Starettes.  Regan’s most
recent dance accomplishments are dancing for Dances,
Chances, Circumstances - The Fifth Element at the Phipps
Center for the Arts, working with Ashland Production in their
version of 42nd Street, dancing with the danceXchange's adult
competition company, and dancing for the Zenon Scholarship
Program. She’s currently dancing with the Ascending Star Dance
Team, a semi-pro team which dances for the Ripknees
basketball team in Minnesota. She is also the former Head
Coach of the Minneapolis South High Dance Team, where she
coached for five years. Regan was a member of the Starettes last
year and is thrilled to be returning. She's looking forward to
pouring her whole heart into this company and hopes you see
the passion in her dancing!
     Delaine Murray is pleased to be dancing with the Starettes for a second season.  She works for
Mall of America/Park at MOA as an Entertainment Team Lead - performing in shows, producing
choreography, and heading up the character department.  She currently attends Metropolitan State
University and will graduate December of 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Minor in
Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  She enjoys sculpting and spending time with family and friends.

     Laura Welter is 25 and very excited to be a part of the Starettes and Minnesota PerformDance for
the 2nd year.  She started dancing when she was 14 years old on the South High School Dance
Team and continued on to train in jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop at the danceXchange in Edina.  She’s been
involved in many dance projects around the Metro area including the Zenon Scholarship Program,
Dances Chances show at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson Wisconsin, and the Fringe
Festival in Minneapolis.  She recently joined the Exisdanz Adult Jazz and Hip Hop competition group
that will begin competing in the spring of 2008.  She’s very excited for this year’s Christmas show and
to be a part of such a talented group of dancers.

     Natalie Cochrane has been dancing since the age of four. She has danced with many local
studios, teams and companies. She was a three-year member, choreographer, and captain of both
the Lakeville Starliners Middle School Dance Team and the varsity Lakeville North High School Lake-
Liners Dance Team. Natalie began coaching the Lakeville North JV Dance Team last year and is
currently working with them for winter season. She is a member of the Ripknee’s Ascending Star
Dance Team. She is a first year member of the Minnesota PreformDance Starettes. Natalie attends
Concordia University, St. Paul where she plans to earn her degree in education, theatre, and music.

     Callie Jacobson is a sophomore at Hamline University where she is studying criminal justice and
psychology. Dance has been a part of her life since she was three years old. Most of Callie's training
took place at Stage Door of Performing Arts, where she competed in jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, and
production numbers. She competed nationally through this studio and also traveled with her dance
team to Tampa, Florida where she danced at the Outback Bowl. In the past year Callie danced for
Hamline Dance Ensemble, took classes at Minnesota Dance Theatre, and is now a member of
Ascending Star Dance Team and the Starettes.

     Coralee Kaivo is a student at Hamline University studying Criminal Justice and Forensic Science.
She has been dancing nonstop since she was three years old at a few different studios. Most of her
training comes from Hopkins Dance Center where she studied ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical
theater, and modern. She was a part of her high school kick line for four years, serving as captain for
two of them. And is currently a member of the Hamline Dance Ensemble.

     Jessi Kolodziej is a senior at Hamline University where she’s majoring in Theatre Arts and
Education. She’s been dancing for the past 20 years starting at Stage Door of Performing Arts where
she spent sixteen years learning ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical. Now she dances with the Hamline
Dance Team and the Hamline Dance Ensemble. She’s also a choreographer for the ensemble. For
the past year she has been teaching dance classes through St. Paul Community Education. This is
her first year with the Starettes.

     Molly Nelson has been dancing since she was four years old. She has studied ballet, toe, tap,
jazz, modern, hip-hop, and kick. She has been dancing at ReNance Dance Studios since the age of
five and was on the Minneapolis South High Dance Team all four years in high school. This is her first
year with the Starettes.

     Eryn Stennes has been dancing since the age of 2 all around the Twin Cities.  Performing with
CROSS Players, Morris Park Players, Ashland Productions, Anoka Main Street and many other non-
profit organizations.  She currently teaches classes at the danceXchange in Edina.  She'd like to thank
her family for their continued support and love.

     Lauren Ziehr has always had a passion for self-expression through movement. Throughout high
school she competed with the South High Dance Team, and continued to dance during college with
the St. Olaf Dance Team. Currently, she coaches the South High School Varsity Jazz Dance Team and
is a member of the Ascending Star Dance Team in addition to dancing with the Starettes.
